To everything – turn, turn, turn. There is a season – turn, turn, turn. And a time to every purpose under heaven. Cheryl and I found a new purpose this year, sharing our life, our love for life and life lessons we stumble upon along the way.
Life hasn’t been so easy for Cheryl and I this year. But in no way do we have the right to complain. We have each other, we have great extended families, we have awesome kids, a house to live in and I have a good job. Never the less, every season brings new joy and new challenges. Stress from and the kids got to us, fatigue settled in. I could go on but let’s stop here! There is one upside: all this made us grow. We’re not done growing, we haven’t figured everything out yet but we are determined to keep growing, learning and sharing our experiences and life strategies with you. Here are 5 most popular posts of 2014.
The Simplicity Guide to your Stuff. An easy way to start simplifying your life is to purge the extra things you have and don’t use. Not only you’ll gain more living space, it will also free up space for other aspects of your life: your relationships, health, personal thoughts.
5 Ways to Find Yourself. This seems to obvious but I’ll say it: simplicity starts within. Building a strong identity will help you make better choices more simply.
Tale of an Acorn. Parenting is one of the most difficult tasks we can undergo. Take heart that it is a job worth doing well, and don’t neglect the big picture of what raising kids is all about. When the hard days come, remember that our kids shape us just as much as we shape them.
Blemished and Beautiful. What can we do when our marriages aren’t as idyllic as we imagined they would be? I’m learning through experience that marriage is what we make of it. It doesn’t require perfection to have a fulfilling and rewarding marriage.
The Lost Art of Quietness. Start the year off right by building some quietness into your life. Discover three simple ways to enrich your life by doing less.
Thanks
